A Note From MK:

Hey there! I’m Michelle, photographer, educator, and support system for entrepreneurial women. It’s hard to believe twenty-two years have passed since I first picked up a camera and started Michelle Kuzmick Photography. In the beginning, it was just for fun. I never had any intention of becoming an entrepreneur and opening my own studio. But maybe you can relate to this…I got pregnant with my first child and suddenly my fancy corporate job with a steady paycheck didn’t matter much anymore. My entire world and my priorities changed. I didn’t want to put her in daycare. I needed to make money FAST. So I figured it out.

That first child, a daughter is now almost twenty-one and preparing to fly the coop to pursue her own dreams this October. Her brother born two years later, left for his Freshman year of college last week and the “baby” of the family is getting ready to turn sixteen and will be starting a job and figuring out his way in this crazy world very soon.

This means my entire world and my priorities are changing - again. I LOVE my photography business. I wouldn’t trade the last twenty-two years for anything in the world. I built a business that allowed me to live my dream life. I think that’s an opportunity everyone should have. Heading into this next season of life, my priority is no longer growing my own business but helping others to build theirs.
